The teaching of specialty courses requires specialized knowledge and skills. Specialty Instructor Training courses provide instructors with what is needed. Traditionally such courses were conducted via life presentations. On specialty-instructor.com, the academic part of the training is available on-line. Some Specialty Instructor Training Courses don’t have practical sessions. For these courses, the Specialty Instructor rating can be obtained via participation in online training only.

Courses for which practical training is indispensable are called Hybrid courses. They allow instructors to complete the academic part of their training online, but require them to address themselves to one of the Course Directors mentioned on the course information page to complete the practical part of their training. For these courses, the same option is available for consumers. Consumer specialties are available on www.specialty-courses.com. Instructors, who completed their training of a Hybrid course and fulfill some additional requirements, have the option to promote their status on that web page.
